Elena Walch Gewurztraminer 2007
The Elena Walch Gewurztraminer is a great wine with wonderful floral notes, evoking sweet honeysuckle and clematis blossoms. The subtle fruit is nicely balanced with spice, and has a great finish that is almost reminiscent of licorice. This wine is drier and less fruit driven than other Gewurztraminers. Wonderful alone, or with grilled fish, this wine is a refreshing change from the ordinary.
