Chateau Les Maines 2008 Cuvee Soleil d'Or Sauvignon Blanc
This value driven white wine from Bordeaux, France is sure to delight. With it's fruit driven nose, predominantely pear, with some minerality, the Chateau Les Maines Blanc has a crisp palate. Flavors of citrus and tropical fruits are balanced with nice acidity on the finish.
Excellent alone, this Sauvignon Blanc is wonderful with food, especially cheese. Goat cheese such as Bucherondin works wonderfully with this wine, as will Raclette. However, chicken, white fish, and shell fish will all make great pairings with this great wine.
